Theatre Arts Boosters
All parents of students involved in our program, whether they are enrolled in classes, participate in productions, or both, are members of Theatre Arts Patrons! TAP is the Spartan Theatre booster program, and the members of TAP support the program in many ways, including running concessions, helping with build days, reaching out to new parent volunteers and more!
Want to stay in the loop about parent volunteer needs, TAP meetings, rehearsal calendars and more? Join our Rallyhood site! Meet the TAP Board!
Our wonderful TAP Board is always happy to answer questions and welcome new members! Please find them at any Spartan Theatre events if you have a question or you'd like to know more about being involved!
Susan is in her third year as a member of the Spartan Theatre family and enjoys all kinds of volunteer opportunities with the department's staff, parents, and students. While she prefers not to be in charge of the money and shouldn't be trusted with power tools, she's open to pretty much anything else that needs doing, including going out in public in her sister's 1985 prom dress to support the cast and crew of "Awesome '80s Prom" last fall. (If that's not love, we don't know what is.) And while Susan may not have all the answers, she has connections...and Google...so get in touch any time with questions about how to get involved!
Board Co-Vice President
Nicki is in her fourth year of supporting Spartan Theatre, and has previously supported the department through Concessions, Curtain Calls, Ticket Sales, Costumes, and fundraising for the 2016 trip to the American High School Theatre Festival in Edinburgh. She is looking forward to a great year, and is always happy to make a new friend. As a now retired military spouse, she is used to being the new kid and welcomes questions no matter how big or small, so please don’t hesitate to ask! Outside of Spartan Theatre, Nicki is an avid reader. Her weekend guilty pleasure is binge watching corny movies on Hallmark Channel.
This is Margaret's second year with TAP and Charles, who’s never been accused of being shy, is a Sophomore. She's excited to take over the financial books this year. She spent a short time in prison for embezzlement, tax fraud, and money laundering (for a small, unnamed country in the former Soviet Union). Her prison name was Ruthless Mags but you can call her Margaret. She also enjoys dogs and sunrises.
Kelly is in her 4th year as a member of TAP. She has enjoyed encouraging her son in theater tech and looks forward to seeing her daughter on stage. She is excited to get more involved this year and to support all of the talented Spartans.
